Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga targeted by L.A. street artist music industry attack
Zoe Poindexter
Images of Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga were the target of attacks on the music industry by a right-wing artist who goes under the pseudonym Sabo.

The Los Angelos based street artist used previously released nude photos of the pop stars-- taken by controversial photographer Terry Richards, who has been accused of sexually harassing several models-- in posters disguised as advertisements displayed in various places around Hollywood on Saturday.

These attacks come a day ahead of the 60th Annual Grammy Awards set to air on Sunday, Jan. 28 on CBS from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Both Cyrus and Gaga will be performing at the ceremony, along with Kesha, Rihanna, and Childish Gambino.

A closer inspection of the posters (which can be found here on The Hollywood Reporter) revealed that they are too pornographic to be permissible as an ad. The postersfeature the CBS and Grammys logo, one with a nude Gaga and another with a naked Cyrus.

Each poster has the text: #WeAllKnew, referencing the allegations against powerful men in media who have harassed women, and to those who knew of the harassment but said nothing. Some of the fake advertisements also had the text: #Long Live Music.

Sabo toldTHR that he targeted the music industry because of what he believes is the hypocrisy of the misogyny taught to young children through hip-hop and rap music.

"How can anyone be upset with me putting these up when no one seems upset about what the music industry pushes to our kids?" he asked.
